The lobby and other common areas are bright and whimsical, and feature colorful wallpaper, locally-sourced antiques and other fanciful odds and ends – bland and uniform it is not. But, the hotel also strives to be warm and inviting and features lots of comfortable, cozy seating and other private areas as well as a large fireplace. S
Slippbíó is an excellent venue to hold meetings and gatherings. Located on the ground floor, the 26-seat cinema is ideal for, presentations, film screenings, exhibitions and the facilities are excellent for lectures and small meetings. A wide range of catering which can be tailored to the needs of the partcipitants.
The Lobby of Reykjavik Marina is available for individuals and businesses to rent and hold all kinds of events This open space area can hold up to 100 people. It is cosy, unique environment with great facilities can prove to be a lot of fun for those informal, unconventional meetings. Sofas, pillows, chairs and cushions provide comfort whilst the beautiful decor, consisting of modern Icelandic design mixed with a number of old local gems, attracts the attention and admiration of visitors – but we think the open fireplace seals the deal. The facilities are great for holding presentations, seminars, meetings, receptions and banquets.
The hotel offers 7 types of rooms: Standard rooms, superior rooms, studio 6, attic rooms, deluxe rooms, junior suites and the Marina suite. The rooms are comfortable and decorated with modern design, as well as old harbour objects and Icelandic crafts. Every room is different – the colorful and quirky design is blending- modern Icelandic design with old objects salvaged from the surrounding harbour. All furniture and fittings were custom-made in Iceland and are carefully chosen to create the right atmosphere for our guests.
